SIS 4.7 went live at UConn Health Center on October 15th and contains significant upgrades to SIS Anesthesia, the only anesthesia system functioning as an integrated module of a total perioperative information system. This release features key upgrades to the system’s functionality including enhanced documentation for drug infusions and drug administrations, surgical history information, and time notation utilities that significantly improve ease-of-use. Its integrated database allows for an individualized view of the entire perioperative record for both the anesthesiologist and nursing staff and reflects any changes made to the record in real-time.

SIS Anesthesia completely automates the legal anesthesia record.
