Momentum Artist Management Presents: Jonny Freeman's Funtime Family-Friendly Impro Show at the Edinburgh Festival 2014
Best known as Frank London in CBBC's MI High, Jonny Freeman brings his family friendly Impro Show to this year’s Edinburgh Festival.
Edinburgh, United Kingdom, June 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- With a nod to the format of ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’, Jonny is accompanied by special guest actors and comedians to present an inclusive improvisation show, guaranteed to delight young and old alike.
Featuring a new cast in every show, ‘Jonny Freeman’s Funtime Family-Friendly Impro Show’ will feature hilarious games and improvised sketches that will tickle every generation’s funny bone.
“Think ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’ without the rude bits,” explains Jonny, “this will actually be quite a challenge as most impro shows revolve around a rather scatological sense of humour, but we’re keeping it clean and inclusive.”
Based on audience suggestions, all of the material will be devised on the spot. Mums, dads, boys, girls and grandparents are all welcome to join Jonny and his cast in this hilarious hour of fun for all the family.
About Jonny Freeman
An accomplished actor, Jonny trained at East 15. He’s starred in a wide range of TV dramas including Silent Witness, Top Boy 2, Holby City, Doctors & Dalziel & Pascoe. He’s currently most recognisable for his role as Frank London, team leader, in the CBBC series, M.I. High.
Having always had a flair for comedy, he first flexed his comedy muscles as an improviser. Quickly rising to the top of his game by showing an excellent aptitude for off-the-cuff funniness, he was a regular with top London group Shotgun Impro. He’s also had considerable sketch comedy experience and in 2009, made his first forays into stand-up, becoming a resident MC at The Funny Side Comedy Clubs, where he impressed with his stage presence, quick wit and affability. Jonny has recently broadened his stand-up gigging schedule and is set to take the circuit by storm.

At this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, he'll also be appearing in the play 'Gagging For It' (written by comedian Tim Clark), alongside fellow stand-ups including Imran Yusuf and Susan Murray, as well as directing the comedy duo Wilkinson Ford’s silent character comedy show, ‘Kagoolio’.
