Chorley, United Kingdom, June 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Chorley based business, Exact Abacus Ltd is celebrating an admirable landmark this month as it commemorates 30 years in business.
Founded in June 1984 by David Gregson, Exact Abacus Ltd is a family business that has gone from strength-to-strength during the last three decades. Originally established to serve the mail order industry with a 2-man office in Leyland, the business has adapted with the digital age and now employs 81 staff specialising in e-Commerce services, from its custom built head office in Buckshaw village.
In 2007 the reins of the business were handed from David Gregson to his son Lee. Lee Gregson, Managing Director, comments; “We’re really proud of our 30 years in business, it’s a huge achievement especially in such a fast moving industry. With the rise of multi-channel selling we’ve found our niche and it’s serving us well.”
Exact Abacus has developed its position in the market as a leading provider of back office and e-Commerce software solutions through the 3EX.NET platform. The flagship 3EX.NET software is complemented by a range of digital marketing, fulfilment and customer care services, and supports entrepreneurial businesses looking to provide 5* customer service and grow sales through webstores, marketplaces and new territories.
Lee continues; “Exact Abacus have always been at the forefront of innovation, and with our 30th year we’ve been working on the next phase of our already award-winning 3EX.NET software. This Autumn we’re launching a scaled down version of our custom software for online start-ups, including stock control, order processing and purchasing software and the option to add marketplace and e-Commerce management in one easy-to-use system.”
The business is thanking its employees with festivities, cake and an evening party on Friday 27th June, and Lee will no doubt make a toast to the next 30 years.
