Firewürst Donates $4,000 in Support of Wake Education Partnership
Local Restaurant Contributes Proceeds from 10-Day Fundraising Campaign to Nonprofit Advocating for Student Achievement Across Wake County Public Schools.
Raleigh, NC, June 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Firewürst, the leading provider of premium flame-grilled sausages, burgers and hot dogs, donated $4,000 today to Wake Education Partnership, an independent nonprofit committed to providing excellent public education for all Wake County students. Over a 10-day period, Firewürst patrons provided immense support to a campaign supporting Wake Education Partnership in the development of strong students and local educational leaders. This donation will ensure that Wake Education Partnership can continue to provide local students with the necessary skills to strengthen Wake County’s overall economic health and sustainability.
Founded in 2012 by a father and son team, Firewürst is a family-owned business committed to contributing to the growing local food scene and serving the community by investing in advancing the livelihood of people across the greater Triangle area. That community commitment will continue throughout the month of July as Firewürst launches its campaign to sell 10,000 hot dogs and contribute $10,000 to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. With the support of local families and hot dog fanatics alike, the money raised off hot dog sales throughout the month will provide 50,000 meals to children in need this summer.
