Dandies Vegan Marshmallows the First Marshmallow to be Non-GMO Project Verified
Chicago, IL, July 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Chicago Vegan Foods is proud to announce that Dandies Vegan Marshmallows are the first marshmallows to be Non-GMO Project Verified. An all natural, cruelty-free alternative to the traditional marshmallow, Dandies Vegan Marshmallows have been made in the Chicago area since 2009.
Chicago Vegan Foods worked with the Non-GMO Project for the past year to achieve an ingredient mix that keeps the integrity and deliciousness of the marshmallows intact. Each ingredient in Dandies Marshmallows was reviewed to ensure the entire product met the Non-GMO Project’s Standard.
"Marshmallows should be fun, not something with scary ingredients. That's why we made Dandies delicious and non-GMO. We've never seen people so excited about marshmallows!" says Ryan Howard, President and Founder of Chicago Vegan Foods.
Dandies are the only campfire-style vegan marshmallow on the market and they are free of gelatin and corn. Produced in a dedicated dairy and nut free facility, Dandies are available in traditional size (made for s’mores and for roasting over the fire) and mini size (made for hot cocoa or snacking).
