Insight Global Gives Back
Atlanta, GA, July 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Insight Global, a Staffing Services Company, is focused on giving back to the community. So far this year, the company has completed 30 community service projects across the country. These projects include a wide variety of non-profit groups and organizations.
Each year, every Insight Global branch selects a worthy cause about which it is passionate, and executes on a plan of support. In 2014, the Columbus, San Francisco, and Charlotte offices have each volunteered for organizations focused on ending hunger.
The Columbus office volunteered its time for Stop Hunger Now, an international hunger relief agency. The team was able to help package 40,000 meals that were later shipped to Africa. Drew Anson, an Account Manager who attended the packaging event, commented, “The best part of the event was coming together as an Insight Global family outside of our normal work routine to help fight the battle to end hunger, which affects so many people in the world every day.”
Likewise, the San Francisco office volunteered at a local Food Bank, which serves food to 30,000 families a week. The Charlotte office volunteered for Share our Strength, a national organization focused on childhood hunger. Both community service projects have helped provide food for low income families.
Insight Global is slated to complete many more community-based, volunteer activities in 2014. The company also plans to hold its annual canned-food drive, breast cancer awareness fundraiser, and participate in “Toys for Tots”.
