Pathology Diagnostics Ltd.'s (PDL) Presence at Dako Symposium Strengthens Industry Connections

Cambridge, United Kingdom, July 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Senior technical management staff from Pathology Diagnostics attended the recent DakoLink-UP Scientific Symposium held in York in June 2014. Their presence strengthened connections already in place with Dako staff, and highlighted similarities in quality control and auditing needs with NHS institutes.

The introduction of ISO15189 aims to reduce the uncertainty in laboratory testing, and even though it is focused more towards best-practice within NHS hospitals environs, Pathology Diagnostics aims to follow its stringent criteria within its industry accredited quality management system and take measures to continue to enhance its quality control through CAPA monitoring.

The overall ‘take-home’ message from the symposium was to reduce uncertainty in the field of Histopathology, there must be a significant increase in quality control across more organisations (both public and private) within the scientific research community.
