Canada Powder Releases Updated and Re-Designed Version of Their 3D Printing Consumables
Digital Sign Technologies is releasing Canada Powder’s new plaster-free CP-516 3D Printing Powder and new color binders, with a re-designed plaster-free formula that runs smoothly on all models of Z Corp™ and 3D Systems’ ProJet™ x60 printers.
Toronto, Canada, July 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The chemists at Canada Powder have been progressive in producing innovative developments in their 3D powder and binder systems to improve the quality and performance.
The new CP-516 3D Printing Powder has been re-designed from the ground up. The new formula is plaster-free, making it unique to any other available on the market. It shows greater dimensional stability of the printed models, higher green strength, smoother surface finish, brighter whites, finer detail and a high contrast in colors. The amendments to the formula improve the powder’s consistency, preventing it from clumping during printing, and making sure it will run smoothly in the printers. The plaster-free composition is tolerant to moisture, which produces a more consistent output under varying environmental conditions. The 3D models printed with CP-516 powder and binders will closely match the model in the source files without distortions.
The new powder now can work with any Zcorp™ and ProJet™ x60 powder based printers, still at least 40% cheaper than the OEM materials.
Digital Sign Technologies has been delivering alternative printing consumables for the past 15 years. It pioneered printing inks for wide-format printers, cartridge chip solutions, bulk ink feeding systems, and print head recovery systems.
