New Pool Leagues Coming to Albuquerque
Razor Pool, LLC is running six pool leagues in Albuquerque this Fall. The leagues are played with 5-player teams, each competing against another team in the league every week. Weekly dues range from $10 - $14 per night, with a chance to win cash prizes and a trip to Las Vegas at the end of the season.
Albuquerque, NM, July 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Razor Pool, LLC is bringing six new pool leagues to Albuquerque this Fall. Play starts in August and continues through December at three locations: Doc & Eddy’s, Billiard Palace, and Fox & Hound. Games will be either 8-ball or 9-ball, depending on the league.
Five leagues are the USA Pool League (USAPL) match play format which uses a national handicap system. One league is the BCA Pool League (BCAPL) format which uses a round robin local handicap system. Leagues are played with 5-player teams, each competing against another team in the league every week. Weekly dues range from $10 to $14 per night.
Teams will win cash prizes at the end of the season, depending on the final standings. The winning team from each 8-ball USAPL league will play in the June 2015 playoffs for a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas to play in the National Championships in July 2015. The BCAPL league and 9-ball USAPL league winning teams will play for a free team entry to the National Championships.
