LifeStyles Furniture Celebrating 23 Years of Business
LifeStyles Furniture in the month of July is celebrating 23 years of business. During the month the company will be offering in-store specials and sales as a thank you to customers.
Davenport, IA, July 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- All this month LifeStyles Furniture in Davenport, Iowa is celebrating its 23rd anniversary. As a thank you to customers past and present the company will be offering special in-store sales and promotions throughout the month of July to celebrate 23 years of business.
LifeStyles Furniture first got its start back in 1991 under the name Day Dreams Furniture. It was founded by professionals from the waterbed industry who created it as a specialty futon store offering American made solid wood frames, tables and mattresses. In response to requests from loyal customers over the years looking for other unique types of furniture the store began adding other brands such as Norwegian Stressless recliners and modular home office furniture to its line up. The store would soon grow beyond futons with the addition of modern living room, dining room, bedroom and many other lines of furniture that helped shape a new look and new direction of furniture being offered by the store.
No longer simply a futon store the company also decided that a new name was required to reflect the many different styles of furniture now available that could offer a positive impact in the lifestyle of those looking for something both different and unique. The company decided that the name LifeStyles Furniture best described their new vision and direction as a store and the company re-branded the store under this new name.
In 1998, the store started up its own online presence with several unique web stores where customers both locally and nationally could now have an opportunity to shop products from the store in the convenience of their own home. This was during a time when the internet was still quite new and e-commerce wasn't even a term yet as there just weren't many companies offering products online. Different from online only stores, LifeStylesFurniture.com would be considered among the first "click and mortar" stores meaning it had both a physical store location people could visit as well as an online store.
Today, the company has continued its focus on offering American and European made brands of contemporary furniture and is considered to be among the largest independent modern furniture stores in the Midwest.
