Visions in Education is Holding a Scholastic Book Fair at Their Resource Center

Carmichael, CA, October 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Visions staff are raging about the Scholastic Book Fair now going on in the Resource Center. “I was totally impressed,” says Barbara, a Visions staffer. “It took me by surprise how beautifully decorated the Resource Center is.” She made purchases for her grandchildren. Visions staffer, Anne, says she is purchasing some of the delightful books for her grandchildren for Christmas.

Most of the books and kits are oriented toward children aged kindergarten through eighth grade; these books are part of the events going on now for home school week. There are; however, books, calendars, and posters there that adults would be interested in as well, for example, some of Rachel Ray’s cookbooks (for fans of her ‘Yummo’ 30-minute meals), and area team posters (a great addition to a certain bathroom in Building B). And who doesn’t like Hannah Montana? There are posters and books galore featuring this adorable phenom.

Of course, Scholastic’s most famous books—the Harry Potter series are there also. There is a special deal where, if one buys the seventh book, that patron will receive any of the other Harry Potter books for free.

There are buckets and buckets of widgets, gizmos, creative pens and pencils all hoping they’ll be taken home as future stocking stuffers.

All Visions In Education staff are invited to come by and see the wonderful new books that scholastic has brought to the resource center. Remember, a child or grandchild can never have too many books, and scholastic has quality new and classic books that will be read and re-read many times.
