Mariana Donahue Brings Networking, Design Skills to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties

Donahue gained an interest in real estate from her experiences conducting personal transactions. Having purchased and sold both primary residences and investment properties, where she supervised each phase of the design and remodeling process, she developed a talent for visualizing the potential of a space and a capacity for maximizing a home’s aesthetic appeal.

Donahue also credits her mother, who was in real estate, for inspiring her to focus on residential purchases and sales. “I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to learn about the industry from a young age,” says Donahue. “This has given me a belief in the importance of listening carefully to people, which is essential to helping them identify their needs and goals for the future.”

Prior to real estate, Donahue worked in office management and accounts receivable at a CPA firm, where she excelled as a result of her amicable demeanor and attention to detail. Fluent in Spanish, she also believes her interpersonal skills were a factor in her success.

“I enjoy working directly with people and I think that home ownership is a vital strategy for building and maintaining communities,” adds Donahue, who is originally from Uruguay. “I’m looking forward to sharing what I know to help my clients find their dream home or get the maximum possible return on their investment.”

Donahue is active with her bridge and gourmet groups, local church and the Alzheimer’s Association. Oil painting, jewelry making, walking around Balboa Island and spending time with family are her passions outside of work.
