National Senior Citizens’ Day Luncheon and Awards

Austin, TX, July 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Austin Senior Resource Alliance and Lakeway Realtor Cyndi Cummings, Present National Senior Citizens’ Day Luncheon and Awards Luncheon to recognize outstanding senior citizens.

As the population ages, more and more senior citizens and their caregiver families are faced with the challenges unique to the Twenty-First Century. The Austin Senior Resource Center is a group of Austin-area professionals who are dedicated to finding the best solutions for the senior community.

Not only will the luncheon celebrate Senior Citizens as a whole but it will feature a few very special honorees. Nominations were made by senior living communities around Austin that wanted to recognize the most outstanding members of their communities.

“I had the chance to chat with each of the nominees to find out more about what makes them special. Each one of them has an exceptional love of service to their fellow seniors and each has a unique and fascinating life story. I want to encourage Austinites to see the importance of our senior population, especially those we will honor at our luncheon,” says Cummings.

The National Senior Citizens’ Day Luncheon and Awards ceremony will be held at the Renaissance Hotel on August 21, 2014 at 11 AM.
