Stillborn: The First Zombie Comic Book Creators Hunter S. Zombie and Phillip K. Launch Kickstarter to Spread Virus and Pay Homage to George A. Romero

Dallas, TX, July 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Comic creators Hunter S. Zombie and Phillip K. have been busy promoting their latest TPB, Stillborn: The First Zombie. The zombie comic follows the most primary member of the undead, an unstoppable monster that lures a group of construction workers into an old farmhouse where they are horribly massacred.

The duo has now launched a new Kickstarter Project, to raise funds and awareness for the comic and their campaign for George A. Romero.

Romero created the modern, flesh-eating zombie but never got the copyrights. Both creators pledge 10% of all earnings to George, in hopes to inspire other zombie artists to do the same.

“I think Max Brooks and Robert Kirkman owe George a BIG check,” said Phillip K. “It’s the least we can do for the man who gave us one of the world’s greatest monsters.”

Phillip K. will be making an appearance at the North Dallas Comic Book Show, July 19, 2014. Copies of the Stillborn comic book will be available and the opportunity to pledge towards the Kickstarter project, plus the chance to speak with Phillip about his work.
