Clean Design to Develop Broadcast Campaign for Girl Scouts
Agency Will Address Youth Organization's Urgent Need for Troop Leaders
Raleigh, NC, July 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Award-winning agency Clean Design has another badge to add to its sash after announcing today that it has been selected by Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines to produce a television campaign aimed at recruiting troop leader volunteers.
For over a hundred years, Girl Scouts have been empowering young girls by offering a fun and safe environment where they can form friendships, experience a variety of adventures, and learn useful life skills. The number of girls wanting to join Girl Scouts is currently outpacing the number of available scout leaders, and the local council is actively working toward growing the number of volunteer leaders to accommodate the steady interest.
"We take pride in being an organization that is inclusive of all girls and it's important that we have enough leaders to ensure everyone who is interested can be a Girl Scout," said Lisa Jones, CEO at Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines. "We are so excited to join Clean Design's impressive roster of non-profit clients and have their creative expertise on our side to help drive such an important initiative."
Throughout its history, Girls Scouts have helped to develop countless numbers of girls into highly successful women — including 12 astronauts, 8 First Ladies, and even a U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
"Girl Scouts provide great programs that help build courage, confidence, and character," said Clean Design CEO, Natalie Perkins. "We are thrilled to be working with Girl Scouts to encourage troop leaders to volunteer, and in turn help girls lay the foundation to achieve their dreams."
