TG Manufacturing (Grand Rapids, MI) Acquires C&R Machine Corporation

Grand Rapids, MI, July 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Western Michigan-based TG Manufacturing, a division of Tiger Industrial Systems, today announced it has acquired Sand Lake, Michigan based C&R Machine Corporation.

C&R Machine’s process expertise is in the areas of CNC turning, machining and assembly. The company currently supplies a diverse base of industrial sectors including energy, industrial engineering and packaging.

C&R’s CNC turning capabilities add a critical component to TGM’s full system metal processing capabilities, TGM President Rich Achtenberg said.

“C&R’s CNC turning and machining capabilities are another step in our full systems metals approach as a company, continuing our vertical process integration and providing a one stop solution for our customers,” Achtenberg said. “This acquisition represents an important opportunity for us to continue to expand in the North American market and we believe we are well-positioned to grow our market share in several new industrial spaces.”

Utilizing TG Manufacturing’s global network advanced manufacturing technology and quality systems and integrating C&R Machine’s process knowledge will result in a stronger organization.
