Charlotte Business Leaders Prepare for Cyberattacks

Business leaders in Charlotte will be meeting later this month to collaborate and prepare for expected cyberattacks as threats to businesses have escalated over the past year.

Charlotte, NC, July 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- This week, as eBay announced the $200 million impact of its most recent cyberattack, Charlotte Cybersecurity, Inc. announced it is coordinating a meeting of Charlotte business leaders and local information security professionals to make preparations for defending Charlotte-based companies from cyberattacks.

“It’s not a matter of if one of our Charlotte-based businesses is going to be hit hard, it’s just a matter of when. I won’t rest until we get our local businesses hardened against the growing threat that’s out there,” said Charlotte Cybersecurity’s CEO, Glen Roberts.
