Cupsogue Pictures to Produce "The Miracle"
London, United Kingdom, July 31, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Cupsogue Pictures are pleased to announce that it will be producing Sammy Mendel’s upcoming picture "The Miracle."
Cupsogue’s CEO Gene Fallaize will serve as executive producer on the project, which follows the story of a grieving Jewish scribe who has his life changed by an apparent miracle, which was written and will be directed by British newcomer Sammy Mendel.
Filming for the project starts in London, England in early August, ahead of a release later in the year. Cupsogue Pictures will also be providing worldwide DVD distribution.
'The Miracle' follows Ben, a Jewish scribe who, since his wife's death, has been trying to restore a hopelessly ruined Torah scroll. Along the way we meet the kindly Rabbi Vogel, Ben's loyal daughter Sara, and the debt collector Ben owes money to, all of whom try to persuade Ben to stop working on the scroll -- using very different methods. One morning, Ben comes downstairs to find his Torah brand new. He's convinced that there's been a miracle: but the real miracle is something entirely different...
