2013-2014 Dick Hannah’s Strive 2 Drive Winner Drawn on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at WSUV
Vancouver, WA, July 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The 2013-2014 Strive 2 Drive academic initiative came to a close on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at its annual drawing event on the campus of Washington State University Vancouver. Thousands registered, hundreds showed up to the event, but only one did win. The grand prize winner had the option of selecting one of eight new vehicles or $15,000 donated by Dick Hannah Dealerships. And this year’s winner was MacKenzie Ferguson. MacKenzie is a 16 year old sophomore at Fort Vancouver High School who made the choice to collect the $15,000.
Strive 2 Drive recognizes both GPA increases from the first to second semester as well as overall GPA successes. At the end of the school year, contest winners will be selected at a drawing event at Washington State University Vancouver. The program is open to all students that have met the qualifications and there is no cost to participate.
