Indodrill Awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Singapore, Singapore, July 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Indodrill Group is proud to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certification. This pertains to the company’s manufacturing and maintenance facilities in the Philippines.
The ISO audit process was carried out by the, UK based, certification body QAS International. The intensive audits undertaken throughout 2014 yielded excellent results in all areas.
The ISO 9001:2008 certification is the most comprehensive quality management standard covering all of the main processes within a company and ensures that these processes are conducted under controlled conditions and subject to continuous improvement. The certification is only awarded to companies that can demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and related requirements, with customer satisfaction as a key component of those requirements.
Indodrill’s receipt of the ISO certification is confirmation of the company’s commitment to its value of ‘Quality and Innovation’ – where it always endeavours to provide the highest quality and most innovative service thereby exceeding of its customer expectations.
Indodrill’s manufacturing and maintenance facilities are responsible for designing, inventing, manufacturing and maintaining the company’s fleet of drill rigs. Since its establishment in 2010, the facilities have manufactured approximately forty (40) rigs of the company’s ninety-two (92) rig fleet. Other rigs in the fleet have either been manufactured at the company’s facilities in Indonesia and Laos or have been purchased from rig manufacturers such as Sandvik.
The company intends to seek the ISO: 9001 certification for selected other facilities, as well as the ISO: 14001 and ISO: 18001 certifications for certain of its other operations, as appropriate.
