Boca Raton, FL, July 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- July Enigma Haunt, one of South Florida's most terrifying and detailed haunted attractions, is expanding to its customers experience by adding two new demented dimensions to deliver a haunted experience they won’t forget.
The Abyss will push the patron’s senses to the razors edge. Each step will immerse them deeper into the unknown and will let their minds run wild. Their own fears and visions of that unknown will extract a different response from each person giving everyone a totally unique interaction with the haunt.
Realms of Terror traverses dimensions playing on peoples most vivid nightmares through technically-advanced animation and computer-generated imagery (CGI), horrifying smells and almost 50 skilled actors, all of which culminate to bring those nightmares to life.
"We are making significant additions to the haunt to add to everyone's overall experience. By adding The Abyss and Realms of Terror and additional staging areas we are looking to immerse deep into the fears many people share," said Billy Groeneveld, owner and chief of operations for the Haunt. "We are after that mind numbing panic that makes people question what is real and to give all those who enter a very entertaining night of sheer horror."
The Haunt, located at 21069 S. Military Trail, will utilize both floors of the old Bally's Gym, creating an overall attraction that will take visitors through 45 minutes of fright. In addition to the indoor haunted space, Enigma Haunt will have an outdoor staging area, The Pit, with cue line entertainment that’s sure to twist the imagination of those awaiting entrance into the haunt.
Enigma Haunt's crew of actors and volunteers started working in early June on themes and story lines along with constructing rooms and passageways that are painstakingly detailed. Actor training begins in August and is open to all those who are interested in joining the team.
“Days and weeks are spent on designing and building out our vision of what we want the haunt to be," Billy said. “It is a team effort and we have some of the most creative and dedicated crew that really take the haunted experience to the next level. We've been building on it every year but I am ecstatic with what we are creating for this October haunt season."
It is a no-touch attraction, meaning the actors do not touch visitors; however, the fear is intense and in your face and each realm can have some other “form” of contact, enough to get the hairs on the back of their neck raised and give gut wrenching panic in their stomach.
The haunted attraction will also sponsor various charity nights throughout October to continue giving back to the community. As in years past, a portion of online ticket sales will be donated to The Wounded Warrior Project. Enigma Haunt caters to all ages, although it may be too intense for children under 12.
