Snoozester and High Point University Offer Wake Up Calls to Students

High Point University now offers free wake-up calls to full-time undergraduate students. This unique wake-up call service is funded by the university and provided by Snoozester, which also offers wake-up calls and reminder calls for individuals and corporations. HPU is the first university in the nation to offer the Snoozester service.

High Point, NC, October 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- High Point University students now have one less excuse for being late to morning classes or exams. HPU now offers free wake-up calls to full-time undergraduate students.

This unique wake-up call service is funded by the university and provided by Snoozester, a technology company headquartered in Maryland’s technology corridor, which also offers wake-up calls and reminder calls for individuals and corporations.

HPU is the first university in the nation to offer the Snoozester service, and administrators expect the launch of this new wake-up call service to be very popular with students. The university, which focuses on the total student experience, also provides students with complimentary valet parking and car washes, and offers the wake-up service as part of their new Campus Concierge program.

To use the free wake-up service, students schedule the call online and choose to receive the call either on their residence hall, home or mobile phone. Students can schedule repeating calls and coordinate calls with their course schedules by scheduling calls for different times on different days. The new service -- which is intended to be both fun and practical -- lines up well with High Point's branding statement: At High Point University, every student receives an extraordinary education in a fun environment with caring people.

Snoozester recently released the Snoozester Wake-Up Call Service to universities in hopes that it would not only help students get to class on time, but also help universities that are focused on delivering a better student experience to stand out from the crowd.

The free wake-up call service, along with websites for rating professors and social networking websites like MySpace and Facebook, is another reminder of how much of student’s life takes place online these days.
