About Jeffrey L. Greenacre, CAM, CMCA, CPM
Jeffrey L. Greenacre has over 40 years experience in the real estate field. He is the CEO and Founder of Greenacre Properties Inc. which provides real estate management and related services that service homeowners and developers throughout the Tampa Bay area and the state of Florida. Several other Greenacre companies have been established in the last few years to further serve the needs of community associations nationwide. These companies specialize in long range planning, technology software development and a broader range of real estate programs to compliment the services of Greenacre Properties, Inc. Jeff has vast experience as an asset manager and takes great pride in one particular client, Carrollwood Village in Tampa which encompasses 3600 families divided into three master associations and twenty-five sub associations with an asset value in excess of $3.6 billion. He must interact with the local city and municipal governments, a key skill requiring a great deal of time resolving disputes and conflicts within the community. These efforts preserve the integrity of the community and create a cohesive neighborhood environment. Jeff began his career in the education field as an instructor at the University of Illinois’ College of Business. He relocated to Indiana University’s College of Business as an assistant professor before moving to Florida when he was recruited by GTE Data Services. He moved into management consulting with R.S. Leonard and Associates before starting his own company. He is affiliated with the Community Association Institute (CAI) and has served as President, Vice-President and Committee Chairperson of the Suncoast Chapter over the past two decades. On a national level, he has served as Steering Committee Manager. In conjunction with CAI, he has served on the Chief Executive Officers of Management Companies (CEOMC). Additionally, Jeff has served as Committee Chairman of the Business and Community Development Committee for the Northwest Area Council of the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon. He obtained a B.A. from Whittier College and a M.A. from Northern Illinois University. He has earned the well respected Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) as a professional that has met IREM’s rigid requirements in the areas of education, experience and commitment to a code of ethics. In his spare time Jeff enjoys cruising, scuba diving, skiing, volunteering and working to cure Diabetes Type 1.
