Fecteau: Time to Debate Congressman Cicilline

Providence, RI, July 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Statement from Congressman Cicilline’s Democratic Congressional Opponent Matt Fecteau:

“Debates should begin immediately. We need to ensure voters make an informed decision on September 9th 2014.

“My staff and I will work around Congressman Cicilline’s schedule to participate in a series of debates to clarify our positions on critical issues facing our country and Rhode Islanders. I understand Representative Cicilline may be busy, but we have contacted him before without even a respectful declination.

“If he would publicly release his calendar, my campaign would assist in finding an appropriate date, time, and location to have several of these debates.

“We should come together for the good of our democracy. This is not about Congressman Cicilline, nor myself, this is about the voters. The time has come to have a discussion about the direction of our country and state.”
