Salt Lake City, UT, July 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Boot Scootin' Boogie, LLC announces today the launch of their new website at BootScootinBoogie.net and Boot Scootin' Boogie Mud Run Series, where the mud runs are described as “exciting,” “fun," and a “rootin,' tootin' good time.”
Boot Scootin' Boogie events are designed as a fun mud run distance of approximately a 5k course. Each course incorporates 10+ obstacles, such as: Hay bales, color stations, obstacles, mud and a few other fun surprises. In keeping with one of its core principles, Boot Scootin' Boogie will also partner with local children’s charities, giving every participant the ability to directly take part in selecting and supporting a local charity during his/her registration.
The new mud run series will soon be coming to Salt Lake City, UT and is expected to draw thousands who will participate in its creative combination of obstacles, live entertainment and adult beverages, as well as its focus on runners as well as spectators.
“Boot Scootin' Boogie, LLC is pumped about the upcoming event on October 4, 2014. We have been working nonstop to develop obstacles behind our theme of, 'Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots,' which will give our participants, whether runner or spectator, an excellent value and an amazing experience. We are also excited to have the opportunity to support local children’s charities as giving is one of the core principles of our organization,” said Jyl London, Co-Founder of Boot Scootin Boogie, LLC.
As Utah's 1st and Only Country Bumpkin Fun Mud Run, all obstacles unveiled in the mud runs are designed in a country flare. They have something for everyone (and for all ages) including a children's fishing pond and kids' fun mud run and beyond. They also have "The Boot Scootin' Boogie - Corporate Cup" for their corporations and businesses to compete against one another and "The Boot Scootin' Boogie - University Challenge" where they will have students from local universities wear their respective school colors with pride and challenge one another to be named, "Utah's Dirtiest School."
“We are very excited about the BSB. I have always been passionate about fitness and with incorporating fitness in a corporate setting as well (Corporate Cup). We wanted to take it one step further and create an awesome event for the schools in our fine state of Utah. We want for them to have a fun challenging event where they can wear their colors and compete against one another in a fun and exciting environment. The BSB will be Utah's Premier Event, which will have something for everyone! Come October 4th to the Utah State Fairgrounds for the most exciting event to be held in our state. We look forward to playing in the mud with our friends, families, companies and students. Both the Corporate Cup and the College Crusade will be won by the business or school that has the largest presence in the race.
"Get your teams together and come in full force. Both winning teams will get to keep the travel trophy at their respective business or school for the year. The 4th Annual Corporate Cup has had past attendees like Salt Lake Running company, Vivint, SEO.com, Adobe and over 100 other companies. Last year's winners were America First Credit Union – who is ready to take them on?” said, Bill Schuffenhauer, 3x Olympian/Silver Medalist and Co-founder of Boot Scootin’ Boogie, LLC.
Danene Dustin, Director of Business Development said, "I am thrilled to be involved in this inaugural year of Boot Scootin' Boogie as knowing Bill and Jyl like I do, I've no doubt this event will be a huge success as they are both excellent organizers who ensure that every minute detail is covered. The atmosphere at the Utah State Fairpark on October 4 promises to be electric and a 'must see/do' for all!"
Throughout each event, runners, spectators, volunteers, and sponsors alike, will be partying while listening to music, eating, drinking and participating in various games and contests. Since nobody wants to leave a good time, they have partnered with Inferno to close down Pierpont Avenue in downtown Salt Lake City, UT for a huge block party where there will be bull riding, beach volleyball, Maxim Models and much more.
