Amy Paffrath and Crystal Fambrini to Host Summer Soiree Benefiting Dress for Success in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA, July 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Dress for Success Worldwide-West is partnering with the Young Executives for Success (Y.E.S!), a volunteer branch of the organization to recruit members in joining the ranks of young professional women in the Los Angeles area.
On Thursday, August 7, Dress for Success Worldwide-West and the Young Executives for Success (Y.E.S!) committee will host the first annual Summer Soiree for Success. Special celebrity guests include Amy Paffrath, actress and TV host of VH1’s fun, new reality series Dating Naked; Crystal Fambrini, TV host and lifestyle reporter for FOX, MTV and E! News; and host, motivational speaker, and actress Alexa Fischer, who previously starred in the hit series NCIS, CSI and Bones. This will be the first of many Y.E.S! events to empower and celebrate young professional women by providing volunteerism, fundraising and networking opportunities to champion the mission of Dress for Success during off/after hours.
The fundraiser will take place at the Hotel Palomar from 7-9 p.m. and will benefit Dress for Success Worldwide-West, an organization that helps disadvantaged women find jobs and remain employed. The program will feature mini makeovers, manicures and wellness workshops. Cocktails and h'ordeuvres will be served throughout the evening.
“Our goal with Y.E.S! is to provide young, professional women philanthropic and volunteer opportunities to directly support the women that Dress for Success serves,” says Reena De Asis, director of operations for Dress for Success Worldwide-West. “We encourage women to continue to learn and grow to positively impact their communities, to share their knowledge and skills with those in need.”
Over 70% of Dress for Success’ clients are single moms and the majority being between 18-38. There is no age requirement to join Y.E.S!
