Allegro Beverage Corporation Seals Partnership with AFBI in Staging the Country’s Most Prestigious Barista Competition
2nd Philippine National Barista Championship takes place October 15 to 17. Competition to feature and highlight skills of the country’s best Baristas.

(AFBI), licensed national body of World Coffee Events to the Philippines, in staging the 2nd Philippine National Barista Championship (PNBC) --- the country’s most prestigious barista competition.
Preliminary rounds for the 2nd PNBC are set from October 15 to 16 at Treston International College in Fort Bonifacio Global City, Taguig while final round of the event is set on October 17 at Resorts World Manila in Newport Boulevard, Pasay City.

PNBC encourages and recognizes professional achievement in the art and skill of espresso beverage preparation and service. During the competition, Baristas will prepare and serve twelve coffee drinks: four espressos, four cappuccinos and four original espresso-based signature beverages of their own creation, all within a 15-minute timeframe. Seven Judges, including four Sensory Judges, two Technical Judges and one Head Judge, will evaluate each of the competing Baristas. The winner of the 2nd PNBC will represent the Philippines in the 2015 World Barista Championship, April 9 to 12, 2015 at the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) Expo in Seattle, USA.
