The RV-sFOUR airborne recorder is the centerpiece of a complete system for capturing video onboard flight tours and distributing the video experience to customers. The RV-sFOUR is designed to increase operator revenues with a low cost to own and high sell-through rates. Systems are configurable for nearly any operation with manual or completely automatic operation.

The RV-sFOUR is a high definition video recorder that accepts up to four high definition cameras and seamlessly switches between cameras to create a professional, edited video while in flight. Systems offer a variety of airborne HD cameras to be mounted in the cockpit or on exterior of the aircraft. The RV-sFOUR can be connected to the Commander Controller to control cameras switching based on a timer, GPS waypoints, and manual control. The Commander Controller also adds the ability to play audio files on the recording and/or through passenger headsets based on manual control or GPS waypoint. Recording can be automatically started and finished upon takeoff and landing, resulting in less pilot distraction.

Video is recorded to a USB flash drive in a universal format that can be sold directly to customers. Systems have optional USB duplicators that can create multiple copies within a couple minutes of landing. Research has shown that 80% of customers prefer a digital copy format over a DVD, resulting in typical sell-through rates of 70-80%. With an average sales price between $30-60, operators typically see a pre-cap increase of $17.50.
