The Release of the Honeywell 4GL Cellular Communicator

West Palm Beach, FL, August 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Honeywell has released a brand new communicator, the 4GL cellular communicator that was created just for the all new L7000 alarm system. To this point Honeywell has been using the GSMLP5-4G cellular communicator for all of the LYNX Touch systems. The newer 4GL communicator will work with either the L7000 system or the L5200 system.

As for the older GSMLP5-4G , this communicator will work for your L5200/L5100 system and will be around for quite some time so don’t worry about needing to upgrade if you already purchased your L5200 and it came with the older communicator. One thing to keep in mind if you are trying to upgrade your L7000 system to the cellular communication path is you must get the 4GL communicator as the older GSMVLP5-4G will not work for this system.

For those of you who still have the older L5100 which is still a fantastic system, don’t worry your GSMVLP5-4G communicator will still be active for quite some time as well.
