Brooklyn fashionistas can now shop straight from the runway as Fashion Week Brooklyn partners with tech company Luevo.
Brooklyn, NY, August 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Fashionistas in Brooklyn no longer have to wait for their local stores to stock up with latest trends; they can now reserve new looks straight off the runway.
Luevo, an online platform that creates a direct channel between designers and shoppers has just announced a new partnership with Fashion Week Brooklyn. This season, select designers will be showcasing their runway designs on the Luevo platform and fans can pre-order the products they love.
It’s an idea that supports both the fashion consumers and the creators: fashion lovers have access to emerging designers and next-season looks, while designers receive the support of cash flow to produce their collections.
“The fashion world is changing and the ways in which designers can interact with potential customers is changing as well. So many fashion lovers support local design but until now if a retailer didn’t pick up the line, the collection wasn’t available.
