Fashion and Tech Take Over the Runway in Washington DC

For the first time ever, DC Fashion Week fans can shop from selected designers, straight off the runway. Designers load runway shots from their latest collections onto their dedicated Luevo profiles, and fans can pre-order their favorite items. Once enough interest is gauged on their products, designers go into production and ship to customers, ahead of retail distribution.
The innovative technology facilitates an on-demand production system that is much needed by emerging fashion designers. At the same time, consumers now have the opportunity to shop exclusive designs as soon as they hit the runway.
"Historically, if a designer's collection wasn't chosen by a retailer, it was not widely available to consumers.
