Kiel North America to Host Dinner Reception at 80th ITA Meeting
Indiana transit seating specialist hosts state’s transportation association member dinner; ITA meeting in Bloomington from August 12-14.
Elkhart, IN, August 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Kiel North America, a trendsetting seat provider to transit systems around the world, announced that the company will be sponsoring the dinner reception at the 80th member meeting of the Indiana Transportation Association. The event will take place on August 13 at the picturesque Oliver Winery in Bloomington.
The ITA’s 80th annual meeting at the Bloomington Convention Center will feature vast indoor and outdoor exhibits, expert panel discussions, a variety of social events, and bring together transportation related companies and agencies from across the state.
In 2009, the German-based Kiel Group established its North American headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana, with administration offices and a 20,000 square foot production hall. The highly innovative, premium-quality bus and train seats manufactured at this location are shipped and distributed across the U.S.A. and Canada. As one of only 25 companies in North America, Kiel was recently even awarded the New Flyer “GOLD Delivery Performance Award” for 100% timely deliveries in 2013 as a high-volume supplier—a success that speaks highly of Indiana’s flourishing transportation sector.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kiel North America, an international company, to the ranks of membership in our state association that advocates for better transportation options. We are also very grateful for their generous support of our 80th Annual Meeting. I look forward to working with them for many more years to come,” says Kent McDaniel, the Executive Director of the Indiana Transportation Association.
“As one of the newest members of the Transportation Association, Kiel North America would like to use this opportunity to introduce itself to this key group and get to know the other influencers of the transportation sector in Indiana,” says Thomas Schwank, General Manager at Kiel North America. “The congenial setting of Oliver Winery is the perfect place to make new friends and to celebrate the efforts and accomplishments public transportation provides for the state of Indiana and its citizens.”
