South African Wines, Music and Cuisine Showcased at the 9th Annual South African Food & Wine Festival at Grayhaven Winery
Gum Spring, VA, August 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Join Grayhaven Winery and friends for the 9th annual South African Food & Wine Festival, September 13th & 14th 2014 at Grayhaven Winery, Gum Spring, Virginia. The festival invites wine lovers, foodies and families to learn about South Africa through this two day celebration of South African culture, food, wine and music.
Visitors will taste a spectacular line-up of over 20 wines from MAN Vintners, Fairview Estates, Badenhorst, Kanonkop, and others as well as Grayhaven Winery’s own award-winning Virginia wines. South African wine experts, including Jean-Baptiste Cristini of Fairview Estates and winemaker Francois Bezuidenhout of MAN Vintners and will be on site to share their experiences, knowledge and stories. This unique festival also provides the rare opportunity to taste traditional South African dishes such as Boerewors and Biltong as well as South African themed deserts like Amarula Gelato. South African musical performances by Tuelo & Her Cousins and Ziya. The legendary choreographer, dancer, producer & radio personality Sduduzo Ka Mbili and special guests will perform throughout the weekend – paying homage to the dance traditions and modern rhythms of South Africa. The festival is sponsored by South African Airways, who will be giving away two round trip tickets to South Africa at the event.
