Zone Marketing Hosting a Day of Smiles to Raise Money for Charity

Grand Rapids, MI, August 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Helping others is an important trait for the employees of Zone Marketing. This Sunday Zone Marketing will be out at the Tavern on the Square on Ionia Ave SW in Grand Rapids from 12-5 pm to help raise money for Operation Smile, the charity they partner with.

Operation Smile raises money to perform surgeries for kids born with a cleft in underdeveloped countries. Only one in three kids born with a cleft in lower income countries live to see their first birthday. By raising just $240 Operation Smile can help perform a surgery for one child.

Zone Marketing will be collecting donations during the day as well as teaming up with Tavern on the Square to offer some good deals on food as well. Zone Marketing has set a goal of raising $2500.00 for the event this weekend. Last year they were able to collect just over $1000 and they are looking to raise the bar quite a bit this year.

“We have a really dedicated office and they have been working really hard to make this event really special,” Manager Scott Sanhamel said. “We look forward to interacting with the community and showing people another side of the company.”
