The Gateway Family YMCA – Five Points Branch welcomes Laura Margeotes, School Age Child Care and Camp Director
Union, NJ, August 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Laura Margeotes has joined The Gateway Family YMCA as the School Age Child Care and Camp Director at the Five Points Branch, located at 201 Tucker Avenue in Union, NJ. “Laura joins our team with a background in School Age Child Care and Camp programs. Most recently, Laura was the Child Care Director overseeing both the Child Care Program and Aquatics Program at the Edison Branch YMCA,” stated Danielle Cioffi, District Executive Director of The Gateway Family YMCA.
Laura brings extensive experience to The Gateway Family YMCA, with a Y career spanning 13 years. “I realized that I loved SACC and Camp and that I wanted to come back to working with that age group,” stated Laura Margeotes. Laura graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History, and is a proud mother of 2 beautiful little girls, Olivia who is three and Samantha who is 19 months. Laura added, “I am excited to work with all the directors during the school year to have them show off what they have to offer to families and children at the Y. I think by bringing them to the schools and demonstrating or discussing what the Y has to offer, we will enlighten some parents to the great opportunities for them!”
The Gateway Family YMCA provides school age child care in Union schools through the Five Points Branch, as well as care in Elizabeth schools through the Elizabeth Branch, and Linden and Rahway schools through the Rahway Branch. In addition to traditional school age child care and summer camp, The Gateway Family YMCA provides full time before/after school care participants with a free family membership, providing lasting impact for the entire family, encouraging healthy choices and increasing opportunities for families to join together in a healthy environment. The Gateway Family YMCA is more than a gym. It’s a cause
