2014 Butterfly Los Angeles Open Provides High Level Competition for Top US Player Timothy Wang

The young American superstar practices 6-8 hours per day with a variety of top level players to continually improve and perfect his game. At this weekend’s Los Angeles Open, Timothy will put into action new tactics and strategies that he has been perfecting over the summer, in hopes of causing some major upsets in the Open event.

The 2014 Butterfly Los Angeles Open will be an important stepping stone for the US super star, whose long term goals include medaling at the 2015 Pan-American Games, and securing a spot on the 2016 US Olympic team. After competing at the 2014 Butterfly Los Angeles Open this weekend, Timothy will travel to Ontario, Canada as a vital member of the US National Men’s team for the North American Championships. Then, he will spend the remainder of this year playing in the European leagues (for clubs in Sweden and Denmark), before returning to defend his US National’s Men’s title at the 2014 US Nationals in December.
