Classic Tents Provided Over 200 Tents and Flooring as Official Tent Supplier for 2014 PGA Championship
Inglewood, CA, August 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Classic Tents, a wholly owned subsidiary of Classic Party Rentals, was the official tenting supplier for the seventh consecutive year at the PGA Championship at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
The event, which attracted over 250,000 people, required building more than 200 tents for merchandise, hospitality and security. Widely ranging in size, the two largest tents were the PGA’s merchandise tent, which was 132 feet wide by 300 feet long, and the Wanamaker Club tent, which was 100 feet wide and 400 feet long. The tents at Valhalla had a modular concept allowing them to be installed at virtually any length and are clear span without any interior poles.
Classic Tents also installed 600,000 square feet of flooring inside of the tents. The floors consisted of steel scaffold topped by wooden beams and plywood, which was covered by specialized carpeting.

The project required two months of preparation and will require another four to six weeks to take down with a crew around 60 including Classic Tents employees, specialized contractors and local labor.
