Roig Lawyers Continues Their Expansion and Welcomes Alejandro Perez as an Associate to Their Litigation Practice Group
Deerfield Beach, FL, August 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned law firm dedicated to serving clients across seven offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that Alejandro Perez has joined the firm’s Deerfield Beach office as an Associate in the Litigation practice group.
Alejandro brings more than 10 years of experience representing clients in a variety of civil disputes. He has worked on all facets of litigation, both trial and appellate level, including insurance defense litigation, commercial litigation, mass tort litigation, and first-party property litigation.
The Litigation practice group at Roig Lawyers has the depth and diversity to meet their client’s legal needs for litigation as well as for representation before administrative bodies and arbitration tribunals. Attorneys on their litigation team have represented clients in areas of business litigation, labor and employment, real property/construction litigation, insurance defense, and alternative dispute resolution.
About Alejandro Perez: Alejandro’s practice focuses primarily in the area of first-party property insurance litigation. He also has experience representing debt collectors and in general civil litigation in both State and Federal court.
Alejandro has been a Litigator since 2001 and has concentrated on insurance defense litigation since 2006. His diverse practical experience has also resulted in his accumulation of an equally diverse set of published opinions, many of which were obtained as appellate counsel representing insureds and insurers in Florida. Alejandro also advises insurers and self insured entities on compliance with the Medicare Secondary Payer Act in order to help ensure that matters that reach settlements or judgment are finalized in accordance with Medicare’s interests.
Prior to joining Roig Lawyers, he was an associate at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. where his practice concentrated in first party insurance litigation, class action defense, general civil litigation, appellate litigation, and Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance.
Alejandro graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he served as a member of Seton Hall’s Interscholastic Moot Court Board. After law school, he served as Law Clerk to The Honorable Dennis M. Cavanaugh, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
