Franchising since 2008, it has been the company’s vision to develop a franchise network throughout the U.S. and around the world. Founder, Clay Freeman, opened the first The Spice & Tea Exchange® store in 2005 in St. Augustine, FL. Since then, the system has celebrated 37 store openings in 21 states. “We are very proud to see that our hard work and dedication to the growth of our company is acknowledged through this nomination,” Freeman stated of the designation.
