360 Energy Provides Assistance to ERIP Participants
Burlington, Canada, October 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- 360 Energy Inc. has announced they will be assisting organizations with the required paperwork for the Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program, to ensure all those interested are able to apply for their incentive and gain new insight on energy savings opportunities.
As manufacturers out there feel they are being pinched by the increasing dollar, it makes it much easier to implement new projects and retrofits if there is someone backing the move financially. This is why the ERIP Program, being sponsored by the OPA and electricity utilities around the province, should be taken advantage of.
“ It has been shown, that when incentives are offered, there is greater involvement from organizations in making efficiency changes to facilities that perhaps otherwise would not happen” says David Arkell, President and CEO of 360 Energy Inc.
Unfortunately for industrial organizations, the ERIP program only lasts until December 31, so they have to move quickly if they want to apply for the incentive.
As David Arkell points out, the ERIP program incentive is a very good initiative to bring energy costs and potential savings to everyone’s attention. “It’s amazing how many people take energy for granted or they are not aware of the annual costs of energy (electricity, natural gas, oil, propane). If there were a little more focus by everyone, simple things could be done (not necessarily capital intensive) to reduce annual energy costs. We find customers are not fully aware of incentive programs or believe they will always be around. If energy was treated as a controllable cost and everyone, both households and businesses alike, were made accountable, savings of 5 - 25% could be made.”
Utilities supporting this program suggest that customers should consult with or obtain assistance from industry professionals to ensure that their design, proposals and installations best meet their needs.
