Overland Agency Adds Senior Software Engineer/Lead Flash Developer
Portland, OR, October 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Leading West Coast branding and digital advertising firm the Overland Agency announces it has hired Del Olds as its new Senior Software Engineer and Lead Flash Developer. Mr. Olds brings Overland an impressive 20-plus years of software systems engineering expertise.
In his hybrid role, Mr. Olds will develop content management systems (CMSs) that Overland clients use to manage their new websites without needing any technical knowledge. He will also create interactive animation using Flash, ActionScript, and other state-of-the-art technologies. Mr. Olds has a respected portfolio of websites created for notable Oregon businesses through his own company and many specialty firms. He began his career developing embedded and control systems for NASA while at aerospace and automotive systems corporation TRW. He subsequently cofounded a company that built international flight simulators and GPS systems; developed flight-tracking and inventory software for major airline companies; and was a Technical Director at an interactive firm. Mr. Olds earned a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at the Oregon Institute of Technology.
