Cartoonist of Iconic Nancy Comic Strip Guy Gilchrist Appearing at Minnesota State Fair August 27th and 28th
Will Present an Interactive Family Presentation and Signing Copies of Nancy Book.
Nashville, TN, August 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Award winning internationally syndicated cartoonist and author of the iconic Nancy comic strip, Guy Gilchrist will be appearing at the Minnesota State Fair at 1265 Snelling Ave. N., St. Paul, MN on August 27th and 28th, 2014. Gilchrist will be doing an interactive and humorous presentation designed for the entire family that will inspire and entertain as audiences draw his famous characters right along with him. He will be doing the presentation on Wednesday, August 27th and Thursday, August 28th at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. CT at Schells Stage. In addition, he will also be signing copies of his new book, Nancy that is a collection of his Nancy comics. Gilchrist’s presentation will draw from his own personal experiences and provide antidotes from his work on Nancy, Jim Henson’s Muppets, and much more.

Throughout the years, he has set his hand to such notable cartoons as Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Fraggle Rock and The Pink Panther and was instrumental in the creation of The Muppet Babies.
