Fecteau: "I Wholeheartedly Condemn the Execution of James Foley."

Providence, RI, August 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Statement from Congressman David Cicilline’s Democratic congressional opponent Matt Fecteau:

“I wholeheartedly condemn the execution of James Foley. This disgusting, deplorable act must not go unpunished. The US should do everything reasonable to bring the people who committed this atrocity to justice.

"My deepest and sincerest condolences go out to the family of James Foley. He was a hero for bringing to the light the pain and suffering of the Syrian people.

"We should also recognize while this act is deplorable and unconscionable, the Syrian and Iraqi people face the prospective of being governed by the very people who committed this criminal act. We need to work together to support an inclusive Iraqi government that would eradicate such extremism."
