Avionté Receives 2014 ASA Care Award from the American Staffing Association
ASA Recognizes Avionté for its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives through the Avionté Hope Foundation.
Eagan, MN, August 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Avionté, Inc., a leading provider of staffing software solutions out of Eagan, Minn., has been honored by the American Staffing Association as a recipient of their 2014 ASA Care Award. The award recognizes outstanding corporate social responsibility initiatives, and it is given to four ASA-member staffing firms, one associate member, and one affiliated chapter each year.
Avionté was awarded the 2014 ASA Care Award for their efforts through the Avionté Hope Foundation, a nonprofit arm of Avionté that was launched by Avionté’s founders in January of 2012. President and CEO of ASA Richard Wahlquist announced Avionté as a 2014 ASA Care Award winner during his presentation at Avionté’s 5th Annual Client Connection Forum, which was held August 6-7 in Minneapolis.
“The ASA Care Awards annually honor the best corporate social responsibility programs in the U.S. staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry, and we are delighted to extend this honor to Avionté for its Avionté Hope Foundation,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and CEO.
The award honors companies with corporate social responsibility initiatives that impact employee training and professional development, community engagement, green business practices, philanthropy, and more. Since early 2012, the Avionté Hope Foundation has significantly increased Avionté employee philanthropic initiatives and community engagement levels, and has had a positive influence on Avionté’s corporate culture, retention rates, and brand recognition within the industry.
Avionté’s founders launched the Avionté Hope Foundation with the goal of helping individuals in the local community achieve long-term life improvement through financial and personal support, and providing a conduit for employees to be more involved in volunteering. Since launching the Avionté Hope Foundation, Avionté has donated nearly $100,000 to organizations in Minnesota and near Kathmandu, Nepal. In 2013 alone, the Avionté Hope Foundation donated over $36,000, and its employees participated in over 112 unique volunteer experiences.
“The main goals of the Avionté Hope Foundation relate directly into the goals for Avionté as a business overall, and I’m happy to have seen Avionté employees’ passions transcend into helping people within the community,” said CEO of Avionté John Long. “The Avionté Hope Foundation aims to take the passion that Avionté’s leadership team has for providing true value to its customers and to the overall staffing industry, and then use that passion to provide great value to the community as a Minnesota-based company.”
Avionté Staffing Software was listed alongside Volt Workforce Solutions, Innovative Employee Solutions, Rangam Consultants, Select People Solutions, and the Georgia Staffing Association.
