YANMAR America Energy Systems Introduces New Sales Team Members
New Energy Systems employees at YANMAR America will boost service and sales in key markets.
Adairsville, GA, August 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- YANMAR America’s Energy Systems business unit is pleased to announce the addition of two new employees to its sales team. Effective August 11, 2014, Derek Hildreth will assume the role of Sales Application Engineer for the western part of the United States and Canada, and effective August 25, 2014, Michael Alfano will assume the role of Sales Application Engineer for the northeastern United States.
Prior to this position, Hildreth worked as a Product Development Engineer for four years at Clear Edge Power & UTC Power in California. Hildreth also worked as the Mechanical Engineering Team Lead on projects such as fuel cell technology and distributed generation for UTC Power for 12 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and he is responsible for 13 different patents and patent applications relating to fuel cell technology.
Alfano joins YANMAR after spending fourteen years at Mack Boring & Parts Company as an Operations Manager and Production Manager; his experience with YANMAR diesel engines, parts and service operations, as well as installing and commissioning YANMAR mCHP units in a variety of environments will be a valuable asset. Other positions he has held include Purchasing Manager for Ogden Aviation Services and Facility and Maintenance Manager for Continental Airlines.
These two new additions to the YANMAR America team will help further the Energy Systems division’s growth in North America. Both sales application engineers will serve targeted areas of growth for the company’s cogeneration systems, which will allow the business unit to better serve its existing customers and expand its potential for new customers.
