American Green Technology® Reaches Agreement with Row 5 Distributors for Canada

South Bend, IN, August 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- American Green Technology® (AGT) has finalized an agreement with Row 5 Distributors of Saskatchewan, Canada, to market and distribute AGT’s innovative Health Risk Management System (HRMS), as well as their entire energy efficient, induction lighting product line to the Canadian marketplace. Row 5 Distributors represents a collection of professionals with extensive engineering, legal and sales backgrounds who are positioned to create a network across the country to bring AGT products like the HRMS technology to the Canadian people.

According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, more than 200,000 patients get infections every year while receiving healthcare in Canada and more than 8,000 of these patients die as a result. About 80% of common infections are spread by healthcare workers, patients and visitors. Mortality rates attributable to Clostridium difficile (C. diff) infection have more than tripled in Canada since 1997. The HRMS is a patented UVC lighting system that eliminates 99.7% of pathogens that become airborne thereby reducing the risk of transferring deadly pathogens like C. diff which is often transmitted through the air.
