Gloucester, MA, August 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Giving Diapers, Giving Hope has named Kim Rosas as the new Executive Director. For the last 2 years Kim has served as Fundraising and PR Coordinator and has been active in the charity’s day-to-day operations. “As a believer in the empowerment of reusable diapering options for families facing financial hardship I am excited to take on a larger role in the organization [GDGH]. I’ve spent years educating families on ways to diaper on a budget using my own website as the platform. GDGH provides a leg-up to families and a cure for diaper need. Since using cloth diapers saves between $60-$100 a month our program frees up that money for families to put towards other essentials such as utilities.”
Maria has been named Director of Operations for Giving Diapers. Maria is also the owner of Change-Diapers and an independent social media consultant for natural parenting companies. Maria resides in Middletown, MD.
Since 2011 Giving Diapers, Giving Hope has provided more than 600 families with a set of free cloth diapers for the cost of shipping. Nearly 11,000 cloth diapers have been shipped. GroVia, makers of modern cloth diapers, joined as Giving Diapers, Giving Hope’s shipping partner in January, 2014. Diapers sent to qualified families come from individual and company donations.
Giving Diapers, Giving Hope is a not-for-profit organization founded by Kristen McCarthy in 2011 that aims to provide cloth diapers for the cost of shipping to income-qualified families across the US in order to help alleviate the cost of diapering their children.
