Bauer Wins Victory on 8/26, Goes to Run-Off on November 4th

Jeff Bauer won the August 26th election for the District One seat on the Seminole County School Board in Seminole County, Florida in a hotly contested three-way race. As Florida law requires a 50%+1 simple majority, Bauer will face a run-off competition on November 4, 2014.

Casselberry, FL, August 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On Tuesday, August 26, 2014 the voters of Seminole County cast the largest number of ballots for Jeff Bauer in the District One race for a seat on the Seminole County School Board. Bauer finished first in a three-way race against Frank D. Curcio and Rich Sloane with 40.84% of the vote. As Florida law requires a simple majority of 50%+1 to declare an outright winner, Bauer will face Rich Sloane in a run-off during the General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

Bauer released the following statement about his victory:
“I’m honored that so many voters in Seminole County cast their ballots for me on election day. From the first day I declared my candidacy for this position, I’ve done so with the sole desire and intention to serve the residents of the county where I’ve lived for over 43 years. My victory on August 26th is a clear indicator that many individuals agree with my belief that the current school board needs a strong and independent voice that will work for district-wide transparency, fiscal responsibility, and conservative values. I want to thank all the many people who have worked so hard for my campaign. Without my family, friends, and supporters, this victory would not have been possible. I continue to ask the voters of Seminole County for their support and look forward to becoming the next school board member from District One on November 4th.”

Over the next nine weeks, Bauer plans to continue to work hard to ensure his victory on November 4, 2014. For more information about his campaign, please visit http://www.votejeffbauer.com/.
