Talamas Boston Announces the Addition of the ARRI Amira to Their Rental Inventory
Newton, MA, August 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Given the high demand for the ARRI Amira camera, Talamas obtained the Amira in mid-August 2014 in order to add ARRI’s latest class-leading product to their extensive stock of digital cinematography equipment.
The Amira is a continuation of ARRI’s commitment to offering diverse and flexible tools. Boasting a high-functioning, user-friendly design, the Amira a perfect match for use with the classic ARRI Alexa – also on offer from Talamas – which features both the same sensor and exceptional image quality as the Amira.
An extremely versatile documentary-style camera, the Amira combines exceptional image quality (up to 200 fps) and an ergonomic design optimized for handling by single-operator for extended shoulder-mounted operation. Rugged and ready to shoot right out of the camera bag, the Amira records Rec 709 or Log C images using ProRes LT, 422, 422HQ or 444 codecs and, by recording to in-camera CFast 2.0 flash memory cards with extremely quick data rates, increases productivity and makes the journey into postproduction completely seamless.
Just as the Amira offers ease of use and speedy deployment to users who face increasingly tight schedules, Talamas, knowing their customers are excited to get their hands on the Amira, are offering their customers an opportunity to be the first to check the Amira out on weekdays from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at their Newton, MA shop.
Additionally, Talamas will host a free introduction to the Amira presented by ARRI Technical Sales Representative, Guenter Noesner, on Tuesday, September 16th at 6:30pm.
