Vas Vedantam Named to Lawyers of Color Hot List
Moore & Van Allen Associate Vas Vedantam was named to Lawyers Of Color’s 2014 Southern Region Hot List, which recognizes early- to mid-career minority attorneys who are excelling in the legal profession.

Honorees will be profiled in Lawyers Of Color’s 2014 Hot List Issue.
Vedantam maintains a broad-based intellectual property practice, with a focus on patent protection, trade secret protection, trademark protection, intellectual property licensing, and intellectual property litigation. He currently represents both Fortune 500 and start-up companies in a variety of industries, including electronics, computing, financial services, and telecommunications. The LOC selection committee, comprised of editorial staff, fellows and advisers, reviewed nominations and legal publications in order to identify promising candidates. Editorial picks were also made based on research of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments, with special attention given to candidates active in diversity pipeline initiatives.

The organization has a core readership of 35,000, nearly 200,000 unique blog visitors, and nearly 4,000 followers and fans in social media.
